Default Windshield Wiper Problem

When I turn my wipers on, they will go up as usual but when they come down, they stop in my view of the road and continue going back up. So the cycle is not completed. Also, when I turn off the wipers, they will stop where they are and I have to pull the switch downwards to get them to finish the cycle. Any suggestions??

I've read other threads and I can't seem to find if the issue is the motor, parking switch, or the relay..

I've got a similar issue with mine on my 95'. In my case when I've got them on they work and go up in down but really struggle. As they go down, they kinda jump from space to space like there is too much contact pressure. That may be related to your problem. When I change them out I went to advanced auto and got some of the Rainex latitude blah blah. Guy told me they would work and the lengths were right but when I put them on they were way too tall and wouldn't even fit under the hood at rest position. Needless to say, after about 3 more different brand pairs of blades I finally found one that somewhat worked. and thats where I sit now. With all this rain we've been having here though I think Ive finally broken them in.
