Just curious why you bought a C4. I like the body style and interior and
it fell perfectly within my money limit I was willing to spend. I am fully
enjoying my C4.
Wanted a C5 but I'm still paying on my '08 Ultra Classic. The boss says either limit to what I can get a C4 for or no vette. Glad it happened the way it did because I love my '95. I've driven C5 and C6 and they will both run cirlces around me, but they don't have that fighter cockpit feel. When you slide into the cockpit of a C4 it just wraps its lovin arms around you and says "let's go have some fun". I've never been in any other auto that did that for me.
I had it narrowed down to a C4 or C5 , both of my daughters said they thought the C4 looked cooler then the C5. If 2 teenage girls think it looks cool how could an old man go wrong.......Im cool now...........WW
Maybe they're laughing at the music coming out of the windows, and we all know who it is Wayne......
I've been into C2s for over 30 years. After a time it has seemed like a divide grew between the older Corvettes (C1/2/3) and the newer generations (C4/5/6). I wanted to try one of the newer Corvettes and was impressed by the LT5 so I added a 95 ZR-1 to be a stable mate to my 67 435HP coupe.
Bought it because of the low price and wanted to see if I like driving a vette before spending more money on a newer one. To my surprise I like my 93 way more than I thought I would so I'm still driving it.
I bought my C4 because it's one awesome car. I would ride in my dad's c3s, c4s, c5s and his past c6. I liked them all, so I knew I had to get me one. Plus the c4-looks good, has a targa top, and accelerates fast.
Because its the best looking corvette made and I won't be trying to get rid of it because I have 30 or 40k sitting there doing nothing but depreciating.
Was an even-up trade for my HD Electra Glide. Didn't care for the C3's due to age, mileage, maintenance, etc, etc, etc, C5's were over the limit I had set for a toy
I loved the C3 when I saw it but then I saw a C4 and ever since I had wanted it. It took a couple of year but I've got one now. Love the shape and stance of it. I don't know for me it's perfect...
Wanted a C3 or early 70's Monte Carlo SS for a father/son project, then decided I wanted something handled well enough to put on the track. Decided to pursue a "newer" Vette and just couldn't seem to find a C5 in decent shape for under $5,000.
It's the main vette body that I grew up with. So it is the dream car. The values are such that good performance can be had without breaking he bank. I don't see many clean C4s around.
