If you do a Google search, there is a list of things that you should look out for when buying a used C4 Corvette. My advice is simple.
If it has mechanical problems, they are easy to fix.
If it has cosmetic problems, they are expensive to fix.
If it is perfect mechanically, maybe around $6K. It is a 22 year old car with over 100K miles. Maybe more if there is any documentation from service and repairs. I would be careful about any additional dealer charges as well.
My 89 c-4 decided to give me a new elect. issue.. got home ther other evening and the heater fan will not shut off.. i unplugged it.. any advice on that..

I agree. 6-6.5k would be a good price if it is good condition with no accidents. Be careful of the repaired accidents, especially if it had frame damage. I avoid the dealers since they usually want way too much. Used car lots typically try to make about 2k off a car like that, meaning,"they paid 6k".

my first thought is that car is priced to high. thats exactly what i payed for my 94 , with 69,000 miles two years ago.
my second piece of advise is not to buy a c-4 from a dealer, there is way too many good deals out there from private owners that took good care of their cars. ya never know what you gonna get from a dealer.

My advice is to start a new thread for your problem, instead of cluttering up someone else's.

To the OP, always hard for us to tell when we haven't actually seen the car in person, but I suspect there are better deals out there. Take your time and look hard until you find the right car. The ad you linked to seems a little over priced to me.
