I'm not feeling the black wheels at all, I think they lose the appeal when you can barely see the spokes, but what you did with the car is awesome. It's always nice to see people bringing back C4's from the junk yard.

I disagree do something nice with the brakes and rotors and those wheels will pop..
Here is a list of what I did and spent on the car so far. I got the vette free with 59k miles so my investment has been minimal to this point except for my labor.
Thanks for the replies. One of the hardest aspects of this car was putting it back together because I didn't take it apart.
I would say reinstalling the front bumper cover and impact bar was probably the hardest to get in perfect alignment with the hood. I must of took the cover off/on 10 times.
Also, new hood assist struts are probably the best $20 I spent on the car.
*** for the color dilema I was in the same boat with my 85 color choice to I have narowed it down to GM's lazer blue or the inferno orange that is on the new camaros but the blue has thhe lead right now hope you dont shoot it the same boring color that everybody else has but good luck with the build.
Just started a project similar to this, I however will not be keeping a running total of the expenses, so the wife doesn't get upset with me! I have owned my 85 since 2004 and it has sat for the last 4 and a half, time to bring the beast back to life!!
