I was wondering about that myself. I was thinking of using it for my clear top.

I think you have 3 choices when it comes to C4 roof rattles. Live with it, sell it, or...

I got something very similar from MAM, and it does seem to have cut
down the rattle.

I have ordered a complete set of weather stripping and I kind of hope that solves the rattle of the roof. It isn't bad, but it is the back drivers side right behind my head.

Seems like every squeak or rattle is one the drivers side... Until I get the new seals in place, I just crank up the radio

I read a post on this board a few years ago that someone installed them, but it made the top fit so tight it cracked the top. Mine are Also collecting dust in a tool box somewhere.

Exactly!

A good experiment is to cut a microfibre towel into two inch strips and bolt the roof into position.
If the rattles stop, you saved a bunch of money.

I bought 2 packages of these 4"x2" Velcro strips at my local hobby store and installed them (loop sides) on my top. Total cost of around $6.

They aren't very thick, but they got the job done. It eliminated all the squeaking/rattling on my glass top.

That's a good cheap trick, I will try that first.

If you are concerned with rattles and road noise, go with dynamat extreme. It is my first choice to quiet road noise.
