With winter storage I am already experiencing acute withdrawal symptoms. Especially when I read through the posts of those of you in the south who are still enjoying your Vettes. Up here in MN we have snow on the ground and the temp is currently 23°. If we're lucky, it will get up to a balmy 30° today.
If any of you southerners know of any good job openings in the plastics business...let me know. How nice it would be to live somewhere I could drive my Vette year round and maybe even have some curvy roads to drive it on.
It would probably be against forum rules for me to actually say how I feel about winter in the north.
Damn,I had my car out a little late last night and felt guilty because it had a little bit of dew on it when I pulled it back into the garage.
When my car is stored for the winter I try to replace a few stock parts that might go bad eventually just because of their age. I'm in no big rush doing it because I have at least 6 months to get it done. It always seems easier that way.
I've tried. I really have. I've resisted the urge to post. With every ounce of fortitude I can muster. I've tried to be sympathetic to my northern bretheren....particularly a certain feline that hails from the great white north.
But alas, all of my efforts have proven futile. Here I am.
