Mouse patrol is important. A friend of mine had a lot of wiring under the hood chewed by mousies in his '89.

Try touching him with a cattle prod, if he lives I can promise you he won't get on your hood again...

Cats like the heat from a hot engine. Especially when it's cold outside.
Mine tend to do it only in the winter.

I see what you did there...assuming that's in reference to the SBC under the hood?

If you remove the cats, there's some horsepower to be found.

That reminds me! I took a screenshot of one of the funniest YouTube videos I've ever seen. This was a video of a Mercedes C63 AMG with a cat-less exhaust. And I couldn't stop laughing when I saw this response. Sorry for it being small, I'm not very good at screenshotting
if you can't read it:
"can someone explain what a 'cat' is?/"
"Sometimes Kittens will climb into the exhaust because it's warm, but then they get stuck and can't escape and meet their untimely demise. This creates a quiet muffled exhaust sound, so when you take out the "cat" or "decat" your exhaust it makes it much louder."

They wait till you go to bed then they sneak the Vette out, pick up their buddies, and go to a jazz club....I know it's the truth cause I saw it on Tom & Jerry.

I'd have no issues with that cat. What big paws he has!
