They have Delphi IAC motors at Rockauto.com for $59.97...This is the cheapest I have seen them...Before putting out the money for a new IAC you should check out some of the things mentioned above... One person mentioned "Fuel Injectors", this could possibly be your problem and is one thing I didn't think to suggest.A bad or clogged injector could cause a up and down idle....Use an ohm meter to check the resistence on each injector ( both hot and cold) and if the reading is below 12 ohms then your injectors need to be replaced.. The normal reading for injectors is 14- 16.5 ohms.. WW
From around 89 or 90 to 92 GM used Multeck injectors. An injector is basically a seloniod and the coating used on the Multeck injectors windings gets eating away buy today's fuel causing them to short out. Its not a question of if but when the Multeck injector will fail. At some point everyone with Multeck injectors will have to replace them. Everyone. Its simple to check them. Just pull the plug on the injector and stick the ohm meter leads into each connection. Anything below 12 ohms is bad. You can change them yourself if you take your time and save a lot of money. Take pictures so you know where everything belongs and make a carboard cut out for the bolt locations since some are longer then others you will know where they go back. You will need a long number 40 torx for the runners and a short one for the two inside runner bolts. You also need new fuel line O rings for the fuel rail and runner gaskets. Since you got it this far apart might as well replace the fuel regulator.
