I used the Quick release Ventmaster for years without trouble. I bought Kevin's Vent last year and have been using that this year, very nice piece.
I have used a hatch vent for 8 years on my vette without any trouble.. and that is on Chicago's Lovely roads :lol:

Is a rattle problem a function of the hatch struts not being fully charged? Before I replaced my struts they were not strong enough to hold the vent open all the time. I was surprised to find that the new struts would actually lift the hatch open. I did not have the hatch vent then, but I can see that it would have rattled in that case.
