Total = 7,800 Pounds

How did this turn into 12Klbs?

Thanks in Advance all Valued Opinions.
Because the OP said two cars not just the one.

Also you never buy a trailer or tow rig based on minimum weight unless you like buying twice. Once for the wrong purchase and then for something that will work.

I see. So you want to tow your current C4 OR your future ZR1 not both at the same time. I really thought your second post was an update saying you wanted to be able to take BOTH at the same time.

I am on the same page now.

In this case I think I would keep the H3 unless you just want a new truck.

If you want a new truck you are well below the weight limit of almost any half ton truck except maybe some of the V6 powered models.

I would make sure whatever you get you have a good trailer brake controller, load equalizer hitch and sway bar setup.

Is the H3 setup to tow at its max tow rating or will you need to spend money to get it prepped?

383vett - Nice pics. Thanks, but your SUV does not look rated to haul that much weight. My Alpha H3 is rated 6,000 lbs max. I think you're playing with fire.

It's a 2014 Range Rover Sport tow rated at 7780 lbs. My total rig including the Vette is just under 5000 lbs.

Yeah Willie , But if you drove it to the dragstrip, you could pull wheelies at traffic lights, that would be cool.......WW

WOW! Really! Just trying to help you out here.

You either know if your truck has a full tow package installed or you don't. No one else on a forum will know this information.

Does your truck have a heavy duty cooling package, brake option and wired for 7 pin trailer electrical with trailer brakes? What rear end gear does your truck have? Does your truck need a weight distribution hitch to tow its max rated load? Do you have a weight distribution hitch?
