key word is "might"....not my first post..been on and off this site for 9 years...i usually get off when i read replies from outhouse lawyer's who pick apart everything the guy state's...your right i did say 9&10..should have stated that they are 8.5 - 9.5....1/2 inch is measurable on the outside on the car...measure center depth with straight edge...someone stated that only z51 had those they are wrong...mine does and its not a z51...don't know where or who did it but there they are.
84 z 51's had 8.5" in front and 9.5" in rear. Base suspension had 8.5" all around. I'm an original owner with all the literature that they had back then. I'm 100 % positive about this.
Some 'tudes on this thread are why i left long ago, only recently returned.
I suggest not replying to know-it-alls; let them live in their ignorant state. After all, they already know it all! when you argue with fools, you're lowered to their level, after all.
My stock sawblades were drilled off center which made balancing them an oft-repeated exercise. Gracias Chevrolet.
hi whale; had a very hard time getting my new tires balanced on my '84'.
would like a bit more on your comment of off center drilled.
i could check mine for the condition. it would seem if they if the bolt pattern isn't concentric with the out side of rim they would wobble no matter how much they are balanced. this is why not quit sure what you mean.
for the record: mine look just like the pix in the link sea bright posted, are all 4 the same size and have an arrow or are stamped with the rotation direction on the in side of the rim.
thanks whale in advance. look forward to checking this on my c-4
