I pulled the C5 image off the internet - I have no copyright on it. If anyone objects, I'll take it down immediately. For that matter, if you object to the subject, I'll take it down. I just thought it was funny.

IMCO for what little that's worth other than a C1 the C5 is the only other generation of Corvette that does not have some type of fender flare. I think that makes the back of the car look even wider than it is (but it wouldn't stop me from owning a C5 Z06).

I think you're safe here. Post this in the C5 forum on the other hand...

Just don't get all ButtHurt when someone else pokes fun at your C4.

<blink> But .. C4's are perfect! What could anyone say?

I'm actually fully aware of the possible firestorm of posting something like this - especially since there are C5 owners who have a C4 too! However, since the ONLY thing I object to in the C5 is that rear end .. and that's (in my opinion) poor design, it reflects not one whit on owners of C5's ..

Some people like a more "bountiful rear" perhaps, and find the svelte bump on the end of a C4 less esthetically pleasing. To each their own!

Mmm, the svelte rear on a C4.

Opinions are like A-holes. Everyone has one. I think the C4 is one of the best looking Corvette generations. Others think its one of the worst. That doesn't make anybody wrong. Just like whether you like the over-sized "buttocks" of the C5 or not doesn't make you wrong either way.

As far as I'm concerned, if it's a Corvette, its awesome. Well, except for that weird black and orange abomination in the other thread...

I like big butts and I cannot lie, so a C5 I couldn't deny.

... although man a C4 GS parked next to a new C7 is both a stark contrast to one another, and also ridiculously impressive from a Corvette owner standpoint.

Oh, I was instantly enamored of the C7, and really, the C7's rear is very little smaller than the C5. However, the scuplted .. ahem. Anyhow, it's just purtier than the C5. And the C6. It's like the 5 and 6 discovered the gym ..

Hey, I'll have you know that I had clowns pulling 24 hour shifts working on that interior!

Am I the only one picturing an army of clowns fighting a bunch of giant, walking talking buttocks?

Anyone?
No?
Just me?

Don't mind me.
