Hi all,
I have a '95 and the shifter console bezel has become sticky & rubbery to the touch. Has anyone else had this problem and how can I fix this. Is there a way to remove the finish and repaint it or use some type of cleaner to remove it? I'm trying not to replace now if possible.

Thanks, Mark
here's a before and after pics and couple links on refinishing bezels I did a few years ago. hope this helps....
I used Mr Clean, Goop, simple green, etc. Finally after a lot of hours and a lot of elbow grease, I was finally able to get the stuff off. I didn't refinish mine like Joe C. Would have looked a lot nicer.
