True vettes get way better gas mileage than expected. My Stingray with just headers intake tune ran 11.2 at 125mph and can get over 30mpg on highway. Love the car.

Another option is to swap in an LS. I can get ~30mpg highway, but normally ~26mpg with about 20% city, and 80% highway.

I would be surprised if they could not get over 30 on the highway with the highway rating of 29mpg.

wow those are great times . when this motor gives up I will most likely go to a ls3 motor with a 5 lb super charger. my buddy has a ls conversion and gets 31 mpg going 80 . got to luv the new ls motor .
