I am going to carb this engine, then have a custom EFI Intake Manifold. I went away with the opti and 24x possibility for a distributor setup.

Alrighty guys, a lot has been going down, and feel like I need to update this.

first I sold the SBC I built, the block. Still trying to sell the rotating assy and cam. If interested PM me. It’s all Callies and would welcome a deal and I’ll make it sweet.

second I decided on keeping the ZF6 and and going to have ZFDoc clean it up and put an LT5 input and short shifter in. excited for this!

finally it’s getting a Full LS3 swap from now from my camaro SS that was hit and totaled, going to keep the car and transplant the LS3 & ECM and I can tune it with EFILive. I will upgrade the cam and heads, mainly I just am excited to finally get this thing running by spring! I’ve put a ton of time into this and it has taken a back seat from my 900HP Subaru build, and purchase of my Ducati.

last if anyone has Instagram my handle is C4R_Corvette

I will post some pics here of the interior with new seats!

Welcome to the darkside doing an LSX swapped C4.

Here's my 88' with a built LS2 / T56 Magnum

Looks good! I wanted to stay with the ZF6. My original plan was a LS7 after all this but the LS3 will suffice for now. Once the car is dialed in. I’ll shoot for bigger power.

how did the T56 work out as far as shifter location and c beam ?

The T56 Magnum, required a custom made offet shifter and C-beam adapter. But I was still able to keep my stock console and use readily avaliable LS1 style F-body clutch and hydralics.

The T56 magnum is rated for 700hp and 7800rpm shifts so its a nice match to a built LS engine.
