Gift for husband

As suggested before, a rear hatch vent. Helps flow through ventilation.
Or a console cushion cover. Makes the console more comfortable to rest your arm on.

Or a rear hatch area mat. Protects the rear carpet and looks good too.

All are relatively inexpensive. Depending on which versions you choose, you could afford all three for a nice package gift.

IMO, first and foremost, a FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL. second, i'd say a 84-93, GM Y-body, parts and illustrations manual (I prefer the hardcopy). third - tools - a decent torx socket set is always handy. this should cover his birthday, Christmas, and your anniversary -

One of the first things I asked for from my wife when I got my Corvette, wasn't a Vette hat, shirt, jacket, or floor mats, it was a travel buddy. Cup holders are absolutely horrible in Corvettes and the travel buddy has solved every bit of that problem. They have a single or dual option, I opted for dual so both myself and passengers have a place for our beverages. You might be able to find them cheaper elsewhere, but here is a link so you can see what I'm talking about. You will have to scroll down to the drop down menu if you want the dual option.

It has been the most useful interior mod I have done on my Corvette.

Mine is an 85. They all need fuel injectors, it seems like. Bosh III's from john at fuel injector connection are something I would love, but.. That's me. I'm weird anyway, so.

Tires were mentioned. Walmart has a great deal on them and they'll ship them to your local store for free.
The factory service manual is great! A close runner up is a subscription to alldata diy. I think it's 24 bucks a year? Lots of good info there for the guy who likes to do his own wrenching.

Seat covers are kinda worn on a lot of the early C4's. I got mine from rock auto. Carpet too. Both are good quality and I love them. Prices are fair.

Some people love the stock radios and go to great length to restore them. I think they're bogus, and upgraded mine. That's an option if his has deteriorated.
Corvette Sunshade is helpful.
The console lid is always kinda nerp on the ones I see. A new lid is a thought.
There's hats, mugs, wood kits for the dash hide cracks in older C4's. The K&N Air filter is a nice upgrade, and not unreasonably priced. Floor mats and the cargo mat with the "flaps" is good. Headlamp upgrades are good. Often the sun visors are kinda shot. Those are nice.
What kind of shape is the steering wheel in? Mine was a little rough. (Okay, a lot rough.. ) THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE SINGLE BEST CORVETTE WHEEL COVER MONEY CAN BUY! I love this thing! The Mrs. got it for me for my birthday, or christmas or something.. But it's great and if your wheel is a little nerp, then he will go nuts for it. Soft leather.

I dunno where you are, but I stop by this place a lot. They're close and they're nice. Honest. You can browse a lot of stuff there and see what catches your eye.

Wilcox is a forum sponsor and he seems really nice. Honest. Knowledgeable. You might try browsing there too.

Hope this helps!!!

If your husband likes whiskey or other spirits, you might try searching for "C4 Corvette decanter" or "1984 Corvette decanter." I know your car is a 1985, but I didn't see any from a quick Google search, and they should look the same.
Another idea I don't think has been mentioned yet, is the Gadgetman EZ Jack Adapter. For anyone who plans to work on is C4, this is a nice way to make jacking the rear of the car up quicker and easier.
I like a lot of the ideas being suggested here. Like others, I think it's great that you waded in here to ask!

This isn't stuff like mentioned above but it could appeal to him. Offer to go for a cruise with him in the vette. Show some interest and get his and hers Corvette shirts. You'd be surprised how much he would like for you to share the experience with him, IMHO.
If my wife volunteers for a ride which she does rarely, I am always happy to oblige.
WEK.

Rear tires. :-)
The window sticker is always cool, and ypu could get a nice picture of it now, then get a nice picture of it finished, and put it all in a frame for him.
There's always plenty of corvette related "stuff" out there. If he's gonna be working on it, I'd recommend a rolling stool to sit on. It sounds silly but it's nice to have. And rechargeable led work lights make life easier too.

If you think he really likes the Corvette and intends on keeping it I like the window sticker and/or service manual.
I think it's great you came to the forum, joined, and asked. I'm impressed.
