Great advice, thanks
I worry i changing too much at once, but oh well its done.
New heater core (PIA), 3 aluminun core radiator, t56, red epoxy bushings, super ram, 21lb injectors, hot cam, edelbrock heads.
Same 700r4 eprom (for now)
Sandblasted the bracket, the super ram
and ospho rust prevented the bracket, tomorrow ill por15 or maybe buy some epoxy paint from home depot? What do you think would be better for newly sandblasted/ospho metal?
Aloha all,
Im putting my engine back together the T56 is supported, yet having issues where does the coolant hose that mounts in the rear of the original intake mount to the accel super ram intake? Or do I just cap it? Thanks to all
Where does this rear coolant hose mount on SM or just cap?

Reason: Duplicate pic
Put the exhaust original manifolds back on, due to the headers wouldn't fit with the T56 and I couldn't mod them. I put the original lead pipes on and they hit the bottom of the tranny. On the passenger side of the pipes. Thinking of extending them a few inches back, until i get it running, then get custom exhaust. Did anyone else have this issue or did I mess up somewhere?
I ended up cutting and extending the exhaust 1", mocks up great. I also took a piece of 2" x 1" tubing drilled holes, cut in half and welded nuts on it for the rear Cbeam bracket. Tomorrow i get a rare kitchen pass to go and work on the vette. Ill update later this weekend too.
Just finished putting the clutch hydraulics together, tightening up the exhaust and turning it over. The battery has a bad cell and oh wait i need to put fuel in the tank.....right right.. fuel thats the thing that makes the vroom sound. Okay ill try to crank it in the morn with fresh fuel and a new battery ($150 @ O'Reilly's, ouch) im close to having it back on the road thanks to ya"ll! My yellow covetible with a T56, will be waking the WestSide soon!
Looks like I have a bad O2 sensor and a possible leak somewhere in the Superram. Yet she started on the bad side there was a strong smell of gas after a minute, so shut it down to find leak.
Hoping its the O2 sensor since the wire was messed up. Probably replace it with a 3 wire since they heat up faster. Any other thoughts? Thanks

I don't know your knowledge of the superram, but there are quiet a few tricks out there to make it easier to work on and more ways to help it seal better. There are things you can do with loc titing bolts in to the plenum, etc, etc. worth a look up if you have not seen all the tricks to them.
Arg, I've got the car back together, it started up...Awesome! But smelled gas so shut it down. Looking for a stuck injector. But now i cant start it??? No crank, no LCD, no dash back lights, but the gauges work and no security light? Im stuck, im reading though the FSM and the Forum. Is it possible I lost the CCM? I turn the key, no crank and the brake light comes on. Man so close yet so far. Anyone have any input. Oh yeah VATS bypassed with correct resistor, yet tried it with the keys as well. (Have resistor built into a connector, for easy connect)
Any thoughts what am I missing? Thanks

Aloha all, so I have the rebuilt CCM a new set of injectors, and a group of #^!$@&#*#&@ thieves who stole about 2k from my shop including my floorjack which was about $500. Anyways the motor started but still no dash lights, center display (fuel, odometer, speedometer) not sure what could be wrong there just had zip corvette rebythe CCM. The motor runs but need timing and possibly tuned. Yet since the ****** and grabbers took all my good stuff I'm down to a few hand tools and will need to start a new on trying to program the aldl system (cat delete, data log tune, etc.) But just learning this. Kinda bummed due to the theft yet determined to get my vette back on the road. If anyone has suggestions on what could be causing the no dash light, no locks, nor center LCD display, please let me know. The service manual heads toward the CCM but just had that rebuilt at zip corvette for $300.
Aloha All,
Figured out I have a ground issue in my dash somewhere, also the timing is jumping every so many rotations. Trying to figure that one out too. New Accel plugs, MSD rotor, MSD cap, 10mm wires. Timing jumps still ugh. Maybe knock sensor? It does have a Accel Superram intake, hot cam, Edelbrock heads and 1.6 roller rockers. How do I fix the knock sensor on a 1990? I've seen many threads on 84-89s But, here is the first time she moved in almost 2 years. Not sure how to share a video but here is link for a short clip.
Aloha all,
The Vette lives again, YES! It does keep throwing H43 which I think it is the 1.6 roller rockers setting off the Knock sensor. Still not sure how to go around that yet.
It cant be driven as when it gets hot it starts back firing into the superram. Think the knock sensor is retarting the timing so it pops and jerks.
my next step is to get the cables to start data log where I can get tuning equipment and tune it. Of course I have to fix the knock sensor thing too.
this weekend I rewired the center console auto switch
Purple and Yellow with black stripe wired to clutch pedal
Orange with black stripe and Black with white stripe wired together to allow power to the convertible hatch.
Light Green and Blue wired to reverse switch on T56.
Aloha all,
after two years of work and all your help. I want to extend a big Mahalo (Thank you) to all. Unfortunately I have had to take a quick position in DC and have sold my Vette. (boy he got a deal) anyways it has been an honor to be in the vette community and hope to return with another someday.
