My guess is probably not.

Your Gold will need the EDM along the speakers with the amps. The head unit should bolt in, however.

It will physically fit, but all of the plugs/connections are different.

I'm not sure how it will physically fit as the pre 1990 radio is 1.5 din and the 1990 and later is double din. The 1990 and newer radios also don't have a flat mounting area. All 4 mounting tabs are in a different location relative to each other and also angled. It's a tough radio to do anything with except use in a the correct application. Then there is the separate radio unit to address (CDM I think). If it's a Bose it has one of those also as the radio (FM/AM) is located in a separate unit.

some here need to stop guessing at their "helpful" answers. Do these look like they are compatible? Same size?

You'd be better off with a new stereo. All old car stereo's loose performance as they age mostly with the material used in capacitors. Plus the amount of work to retrofit in the 90 Bose would be the same as installing a new radio with more modern technology.
