If you just want to read the code numbers, you can jumper the A-G pins on the ALDL plug. Then just look up the code description.

I used the paper clip method of jumping the ALDL too.

SnapOn MT2500 or go buy the OBD 1 scanner at Autozone and see if it reads your car. IIRC AutoXray was bought over by another company but it didn't support my 91. I'm going to buy another one to try and if it doesn't work, return. I'd get the more expensive ones if I can so it reads both OBD1 and OBD2
