Damn I hate to say it, but they look better than the FM5s on your car. Looks great!

Once I adjusted the rear center sections the fit was perfect.

That is just awesome!

I was thinking of going with the Fiske FM5, but those look amazing too.

Right now I run the Mod 5 from Schott Perfrormance; great quality, but have never been fully satisfied with end product, as far as asthetics, but you nailed it! Especially with those big beefy tires! 335's! Nice!

Looks great. Just a curiosity item for me. With all the bolts holding the center section to the rim, do you use Loctite, safety wires or what to hold the nuts tight? I'd be worried about them coming loose over time.

Well that’s pretty rude, the hat/jacket my son gave me for Christmas. I don’t recall asking for your opinion, but then again anyone who has a nose bra on their car doesn’t have very good taste or sense, they do more harm then good.

Previously I had the FM5s...going to 18” looks much better also here’s the FM5 vs Shelby

Actually they look MUCH better than the FM5's did on his car. Not sure if it was the fender brows that were throwing it off for me... but the rears looked too small.
On yours though, the fit looks correct.

Safety wires are overkill and very ugly, loctite would be good as a precautionary. You have to remember air pressure is pushing the two separate barrels out by way of the tire bead. The wheels did not come assembled with either.

Nice comparison!

Well, that made my mind up!!

That is not only a nice C4, but a nice Vette, compare it to any generation!

I thought I had a nice PROJECT car, but Jesus I tip my hat!

That deep dish looks incredible! Very cool that you can alter the offset.

Merry Christmas!

Not rude just stating the obvious. That’s great he thought of you and it would be a neat at car shows. Some things are better off shown than worn. That’s one of them.
You didn’t ask for an opinion but you did ‘throw it out there’. When someone throws it out there don’t get butt hurt if someone comments.
As for the bra on my 86 I didn’t put that on. The car was bought as a gag last February and it came on the car so I left it on. My 86 is my junker (your GS would be my junker if I owned it I just don’t brag) but what my 86 has done this year is criss-crossed the US, on and off 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica, gone to its birthplace in BGKY and Graceland and back home without incident something you and your GS have NEVER done and very possibly COULDNT do.
Coming from a car family in the industry, me being in the parts business and the car business for a very long time, son you really ‘have to get up pretty early in the morning’ to educate me on cars.
How much I really care:
