I want to share with you my experience in dealing with BD Trim and the chromed plastic letters I bought from them for the rear of my 96 Corvette where the impression of "Corvette" is pressed. They are excellent and of very high quality. They arrived when scheduled, inexpensive, and look great. For the smaller letters in the front tag blank that also has impressed with the word "Corvette, I had a problem when one letter was missing. I contacted the company and within a week a new set was sent to me at no charge. I will do business with BD Trim as long as they have something I need for my car.....just saying thank you to BD Trim.
I have another question: Has anyone dwelt with Car Parts. Com? My grandson needs a front bumper cover and hood for his 98 Del Sol and their prices are rock bottom compared to other car part businesses and I am just wondering hw they rate as far as quality and delivery. I would appreciate any recommendations. Thank you all for all the support and I appreciate the assistance I get from this site.
Thank you for the write-up. I was looking for some black letters for my 95 and will probably try these folks now.
As far as CarParts.Com, I have never ordered from them, but I have ordered from PartsTrain.Com, which is probably similar in the quality of parts. The fit is not going to be as good as with OEM parts, so there will be some adjustments you will have to make. I h ave also noticed on these cheaper parts that they are often times feel flimsy compared to OEM parts. Still, it is a 98 Del Sol and unless it is a show car, I think you would be fine.
