A. O. - where and how much to get the top re-lensed. I have been looking and have at least to the spring to find a blue tint targa roof and if I can't, I might get a $75 one on craiglist and have it re-lensed

I see " gray lens", do they offer the blue or brown tint? Seems like a fair price
They do occasionally have the blue or the brown. Mine is technically supposed to have the blue but I like the look of the gray lens a lot better. I have not sent mine out to them yet but I will be doing that very soon I hope.
Great thread, thank you for posting the link in my question post. I have a couple questions. Are there some specialty tools that I will need to take some of the panels off and re-install? Will I need to replace any of the clips or other items that hold these panels in place? Finally, removing the seats...p.i.t.a. ? Thanks again

no special tools are needed, basic Tools around the garage will work for removing just about everything in the car. As far as having to replace clips or any other items, it will depend if they are broken or not. Be careful because most of the plastic in our cars is old and brittle. As long as you take your time you should be fine. As for removing the seats, it's not too bad. You have to remove the cushions first, which will then get you access to the bolts to remove the buckets, and after you remove the buckets you can remove the seat tracks. There are plenty of threads on here to help you through just about everything that you're going to do but if you cannot find one, YouTube and Google are your best friends.
