I'm going to guess that you're having trouble with the steering wheel moving in and out. That's easily fixable!
Disconnect battery.
Carefully pry off the horn button, then disconnect the horn wire from the bottom of the horn button.
With the lock lever pushed to the far right, remove the two screws in the center of the lock lever that attach the lever to the "star nut".
Re-position the lock lever CCW to the next pair of screw holes on the lock lever.
Replace the two screws.
Test: Does the steering column lock properly? If not, repeat this procedure to the next pair of screw holes. There are lots of combinations of screw holes and "star nut" slots to adjust to your liking! The column should be locked with the lever pushed to the far right!
You could use an allen head set screw in place of the locking screw. You can still adjust it but you will have to pop the horn button and use an allen wrench.
