Default Windshield Wipers

Mine are terrible. Better off running without them. The rain beads up on the glass, so rain x may have been applied. Do y'all have a suggestion as to a good brand to get? Dads 93 has teh same problem (they like to jump around when on) I'm just looking for something decent, nothing thats overly expensive (I'm safe with anything from Walmart :D)

TIA

Got my wipers at NAPA. You have to be careful on the height of the wiper arm so it will not hit hood on down cycle. My 20 inchers hit every now and then, went to 18 inchers and solved my problem. $4.83 each

Check the tech tips there is a listing for upgrading your wipers to the 95/96 style which works great. Rather expensive through a dealer but quite a bit cheaper from {Non-supporting vendor}.COM. I upgraded mine and they are great! I use Rain-X but in some bad weather it isn't enough.

I forget what brand I have on my truck, but you gotta take a look at the ends and how the blade sits in there.

When I scraped my windshield the other day, I took the end right off, now the blade works it's way out the end.

I use Walmart:) They have the same same wipers as any other auto parts store. Beside you really need to replace the bubber every 6 months anyway. I usually change on all my car when the wiper begin to jump too.
Haven't try GM parts yet, don't know how much better their rubber against the aftermaket one.

I bought the pylon replacements, but went one size smaller. I was having the wiper interference problem, so I just shortened the blade, no more wiper wars. They've been great so far, about 6 months. Hope you find one you like.

ANCO N-20R, 496MM, Narrow. Are the ones I get for my 1992 Coupe. Do not hit hood and work great.

They were the NAPA brand winshield wipers. They cost me a little over $4.00 each.

Thank you xlr8. Took a while to get it this way. No squeeks, rattles and everything fits right. Gee it only took about 4 years to get it the way I first wanted it when I bought it 5 1/2 years ago. I use it everyday and it runs just great. Org. engine still at 172,000.
