Unfortunately, no, thats not enough. You would be required to provide evidence that a copywright or design patent existed in the first place. Then you would have to provide proof that whats shown on the site, violates it.
You do whatever you want, but the place for these accusations to be charged towards an individual or website is the court of law.
The reputational reasons i was referring to are your own.

Have a good night.
just unfortunate that moates designs and being copied without compensation and software for burn2 is being used without consent. It’s not up to me to take to court was just disclosing what I had talked to Craig about.
Notice I said I saw it on the forum. I went back to look, and now the post is gone. I simply thought it was good to share it. Just like I did when I found the Super Pro bushings.
I have no skin in the game, and it appears that there is a significant lack of reading comprehension. If its that big a bug up your ***, have the moderators go back into history and find out who originally posted it.
It would have been around 01/08/23.
I have a '96 so these products are not something I am interested in.
Its also pretty dang ignorant thinking that everyone who sees something on the web is going to investigate it to the nth degree.
additionally, I have a feeling that it was posted up by user ID "boostedNW". whose profile says that they have 3 posts, but none can be found. all deleted.
additionally you are forum friends with boostedNW and boosted NW is forum friends with you. I find it a bit strange that a rather new ID would have the same name as the website, EH ?
I am not trying to say anything. Just pointing it out what I see. What I see is an ID with the name of the website, who was active on the 8th which is when I shared the link.
You are the d*ck who went on the attack over an innocent post.
If its that big a deal, ask the moderators to find out who put up the original link that I saw and then post it back for all to see. There is a record of all posts in the log.
Probably the easiest thing to do is for me to you on the IGNORE list (which I just did) and why don't you do the same ? As far as I am concerned I am done with it, as I can't see anymore what you have to say.
Additionally, YOU were the first one to post a link to that website, or did you forget ?
To be fair, Craig used to post on thirdgen.org back in the day. He learned a lot, and then started selling products. The posting stopped, but the selling continued. His last post was over 10 years ago.
Many people over the years have used the forums as a launch pad for their business. Then they lose interest, retire, move on, etc.
Nothing wrong with new companies providing products.
Are there any plug and play aftermarket ECUs that integrate relatively seamlessly with L98s and retain full dash function etc, but that enable fast easy real time data logging and tuning, flashing etc, perhaps even Wideband O2 closed loop operation?
Haltech?
The alternative seems to be Ostrich?
With Ostrich is there a way to integrate wideband O2 sensor data?
The ostrich has no input but if a 86-89 ecm
you can use d8 as a 0-5v input fir wideband into datastream only. Not sure about the 727 . The old apu1 would also work or Dynamic EFI ebl.
Do companies making new toasters buy copyrights to make new toasters? You clearly don't understand what the question you asked even means, let alone copyright law.

also, how does a similar product in a similar case.. YET Completely redesigned hardware, different components, and TOTALLY written from scratch software count as copying? Lmfao some people are just so uneducated they should not be allowed to speak, let alone voice their own opinions as facts 🤣🤣
And I call BS on you talking with Craig, you are already so FULL of your own sh.. that no one should believe a word out of your mouth.
And a FYI for all and forum moderators, I am not either of them, But I HAVE spoken extensively to the developer of the new products and their reasoning and fact they are helping the market by continuing to make products that are still wanted should be a GREAT thing for the community not some fanboy hate fest towards "new" things.
Look craig quit, it was His choice to close down no one else( and left everyone hanging VERY ABRUPTLY to top it off), you can't close down and say NO ONE CAN EVER MAKE PRODUCTS LIKE MINE AGAIN.. But I'm Still LEAVING. SERIOUSLY?! 🤣🤣🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Just a couple notes for the uninformed, Copyright does not protect a product design...In most countries, it is not possible to copyright a physical product. Copyright law typically only applies to original works of authorship that are fixed in a tangible medium of expression, such as a book, a song, or a piece of software. A physical product, such as a chair or a toy, is not considered to be a work of authorship and therefore cannot be copyrighted. However, certain aspects of a physical product such as its design, shape, or appearance can be protected by copyright if they are considered to be original and creative and can be identified separately from the functional elements of the product. Additionally, other forms of legal protection such as patent or design registration may apply to protect the functional or ornamental aspects of a physical product.
In these cases, the products used OFF THE SHELF cases, that can be easily obtained from the source, nothing makes them "original or creative"
I think the word the misinformed person is looking for is a "PATENT" as stated above...for which they would have to have applied for and be registered with the patent office. Of which they do not have.
