Convertible hard top window?
I have the opportunity to get a hard top for my 92 vert. Problem is it needs the rear glass. Anybody have any luck finding the glass?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I'm not sure about the availability of the rear glass, but IMHO, if the rest of the top is in very nice condition, and you can get a really good deal on it....I would snag it! Use the missing glass as the reason you get it cheap and start searching for the window. Worst case scenario is you have to have one made....years ago, this may have been a long shot, but nowadays there's plenty of very skilled people who can "cut" what you need out of an existing piece of glass that was intended for some other application. But that's worst case scenario, I think you could find the glass...if you can get the top cheap and it's nice...I'd do it👍

Here's some pictures for reference in your search for a rear window and deciding whether or not to buy! #6 is the glass you need...GM 10123050. Thought you might like to have the other part #'s in case you end up needing to search for trim or moldings, etc.👍

Thanks '78......I can get it FREE! I have searched all over the internet for a glass and cannot find one. Thanks for the part #. Already searched that and it has been discontinued. I do not coem up with any custom glass guys in CT. What a pickle. I guess I could take it and then keep searching.

You are not the first person who has been looking. I’ve also seen other tops being sold with a busted window. I imagine if glass was available, they would have replaced it.
Go down to your local dealer and ask to search the part number and see if any dealer shows it in stock. It has been discontinued since 2012. You might get lucky, or you might get a big zero. But free to ask.
@WVZR-1 has offered tips on the past about aftermarket replacements by working through a local glass company.
