I've always loved the C4 convertible, and I just picked up this red on red, '91. I don't need to tell you all what an improvement this is over my '77.
Couple of things I may need some help with, and forgive me if this is in the wrong folder but for starters, the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light comes on after a half-hour or so of driving. Car runs fine and the light doesn't come back on after I shut it off and restart it although I haven't driven it at length after the light resets to see if it takes another half hour (or less) to come back on.
My experience with Autozone is they can't scan codes for OBD-1 equipped cars. That true or was that just the one I went to?
Any suggestions on what I should do to troubleshoot this? Again, car runs fine with the light on.
Going to make a guess that you get Code 32, EGR system from what you described. Post actual code when you find it. You tube videos will show you the process as well as many posts here.
