Default Advice needed please

I have an 86 with sport seats. I'm getting older and don't bend as easily as before. I love my 86 but my biggest issue is the side support for the torso. It's so in my way. My c3 was so much easier to enter and exit. Granted, the c3 seat did not support as well but it doesn't matter to me, I'm not racing. Is there a regular seat I can use such as a c3 or other? I'd hate to have to sell it and buy a c3 just because of something like this. I thank you for any suggestions.

You could swap in the 94-96 seats, they're a lot less supportive and were designed for old.fst.men (no offense). I think they should bolt in.

Outside of that I think Recaro and a few others make old school flat seats.

I hate to recommend it, but you could use Pontiac Fiero seats... I've seen a few people put those in C3s, and you could easily adapt them to C4 seat frames. They're actually really good seats ... I just hate to see another Fiero lose seats.

Man after my heart. I've had 5 Fiero's in the past, with one being a 1988 GT. One of my favorite cars. Yes the seats were very nice as well.

Nice! Yeah, I had one as my high school car in the 90s, an 87 SE/V6. I still have it. I love that car!

I know of friends swapped there seats for C5 seats cause more comfortable and easy to get in out, next time at car show ask a C5 owner and explain why you would like to sit in his car.

Don't bother with C6 Corvettes?

There is a fairly robust conversation about C5 - C4 seat swap here, in one post there is a link to another thread that discusses it as well.

I'll second this as the late C4 seats should work better for you, but I don't know if they just bolt in or not and then there's the electrical to think about too.
