Default Coolant Leak Detected

I found the source of my coolant leak, but I don't know the specific name of this house (the hose with what looks like heat wrapping). Anyone know?

That is the EGR pipe, definitely not your source of coolant leak. Where are you seeing fluid?

It looks like coolant is leaking from here.

This is where it was pooling when the engine was running.

@TaurusFergie

EGR pipe doesn’t carry any coolant, strictly gases. So I understand correctly, the coolant was pooling under the pipe, just above the valve cover there?

Don't crush me if my memory is wrong, but isn't there coolant running through the pipe to the left of his circle?

Yes. Technically it's an air bleed, but coolant does run through that one.

@TaurusFergie have you checked the threads for where that adjacent line that was mentioned by @2011KLR meets the lower intake?

Can't imagine it is the hose clamp given where it meets the fixed line. Here is a thread of other members discussing its necessity towards cooling. My takeaway is that it could be capped without issue but please read and make your own conclusions!
