Do lady vette drivers wave?
Here in Dallas, I've noticed about one third of vette drivers wave, When I lived in Nashville about 3/4 waved. However, in both places I can only recall once that a lady vette driver waved back.........

I've gotten a couple of return waves from women but I wouldn't say that they are any better or worse than the guys.

Here in St. Pete. FL, very few Vette drivers wave back. I have just about stopped waving, in the last 5 years I've had maybe 4 or 5 other Vette enthusiasts return my wave. None of them were female.

The thing most people forget about waving is that usually other people are wrapped up in thought or music or something when theyre driving. What I go by is how many times people wave that I made eye contact with. If they dont see you chances are they aint gonna wave (duh). If I make eye contact I get about a 75% return wave rate from the guys and about 50% from the ladies. Incidentally theres a lot of lady vette drivers her in so cal and theyre all gorgeous. You know what they say...its never an ugly woman driving a vette. :thumbs: :cheers:

I don't think its a gender thing at all, either they do or they don't. Depends on who's waving to them is my guess. :lol: I still get lots of people that just don't know about the "wave" :seeya
