I know its a pain, but when you replace the blade all you have to do is drive to the
reinspection idiot no more one hour wait.
That's what I thought until "Joe Inspector" told me that I had to return to the regular line. So as an update; I went back to the InspectionStaion tonight. After waiting for more than an hour and a half  the guys pretty much just drive the car through the building and call me over after they install the new sticker. Nobody is right behind the car so I take a minute to put my paperwork back where it belongs and the Inspector "Jackass" asks me to move the car along. :mad So I'm thinking to myself "Hey A-Hole I just waited more than 1.5 hrs for you to glance at the wiper blades. I think I'm entitled to a minute to get my crap in order." The good news is that I don't have to return to that hellhole for another two years :hurray:

D00d for that, I'd finish waiting in line for another hour and then kick his azz for about an hour when he's ready to go home. Then I'd kick his azz for another hour for making me wait 2 whole hours pointlessly. :D :boxing

Re: Inspection station hell (1996Z15)
Inspections are such a waste of time. Here in Hawaii we have to deal with the same crap you guys NJ.
About a year ago we had these stupid camera vans that would clock you take a picture of your front license plate, then mail you a ticket.
Well, my way around this was to just remove the front license plate from my truck. Never got one ticket.
Had to get the truck inspected and forgot to install the front plate. The guy fails me for no front plate. No problem I have the plate on me. I just zip tie it on, and alls fine, but I was still upset over something so stupid.
So, after he places the stickers on my truck I back out of his garage about two feet, and proceed to cut the zip ties off the and put the plate back under my seat. It was all worth it just to see this guys face. I go thru this annually

I was so friggin' pissed that I wanted to strangle the *****.
"Clerk syndrome" Small lives that relish incidental opportunities of power. They achieve satisfaction from your misfortune (schadenfreude).
DON'T let them know you're pissed. When you return, make sure to thank him for giving you an excuse to play hokey an extra day. (e.g. Nothing beats jamming to the tunes while waiting in line.) You smiling will ruin his day! Schadenfreude back at ya....
BTW If that doesn't work, do a burnout when you leave! :D
Sorry to hear about your incident. Just makes me thank God that I don't live in NJ anymore. The insurance sucked, the weather during the winter sucked, the pot holes sucked, the cost of living sucked, emissions testing sucked! :D
One of the best things that I don't have to worry about in my neck of the woods is NO MORE EMISSIONS TESTING! :hurray:
