Do you show your Forum name at big events like Carlisle/Caravans/Cruise ins?
Do you stand behind what you write here on the forums and give people the opportunity to know who you are when a gathering occurs? Or do you cower away and hope no one never figures out who you really are? I know its not hard by some of our license plates to figure it out, but just in general.
I'm going on the caravan and I know I'll put my name out for those that wish to chat about anything I guess.......let me know what your views are on this....I'm just curious

Some people just come on the forum and "chat" and stuff.........when I'm at an event I never can seem to identify who people are......so many vettes.......some put there names on the "entry" thing that goes in the windows but there is no way to identify them by their forum name.......its like two different worlds..........cyber and reality........just wondering who makes sure that the gap is bridged to relate the CF name to the real person so that I can say Hi.......

I don't know if I'd post my forum name around, but I wouldn't hide the fact that I post on the forum. I often tell people I meet to check out the forum...
Back to the main point, some of our cars have identifying characteristics such as rare paint color or exterior effects packages, so if you knew that car from the forum and then saw it at a show, it would be hard for someone to deny their internet identity.

Slid over here cuz of your link in OT. I've only ever been to one vette event before so I don't really have any input ..... however...... I AM perticipating in the 50th Ann. Caravan and will be heading South out of my town and joining with the New York Caravan.
75Rag is my forum name, a pic of my car is in my sig, and my recetly arrived custom plates (front and rear) read "75 4GEAR"

Well I have a CF name tag that I occasionally wear. I have a DBGM coupe with a burlwood interior & I have a dragon tattoo on my left leg that starts on my upper thigh & ends on my shin. You should be able to identify me from one of those three. If for some reason that proves to be too difficult simply do a search for me under topic titles with Wireless as the creator. :D

I haven't been to any BIG events, but I have not problem with people knowing my forum name.....
