I do not have a label in the console but there is one on one of my rear compartments. I don't think it has Z51 on it. What do I have then?
Check your front wheels, if they're as wide as the rear wheels then you have a Z51. Also, the non-Z51 takes 2 3/4 turns to turn the steering wheel all the way, the Z51 takes 2 1/4 turns. :steering:
If you do not see Z51 on your RPO sticker then you have the base suspension. This means you have softer springs and a different (slower) steering ratio. You also may or may not have:
B4P - radiator boost fan
FG3 - Delco-Bilstein shocks
KC4 - engine oil cooler
V01 - heavy duty radiator
The above 4 were included in the Z51 package but were available separately, too. Check your RPO sticker to be sure.
I appreciate the offer. I just got doing some of them but there were alot a I couldn't find. I am going to hit the sack soon. Maybe tomorrow night if you are on. Thanks alot. Jerry
I've seen a handful since I've lived in North NJ all my life, until several months ago. Like most said above, the Malcolm Konner edition was simply a paint scheme, no performance difference.
The Malcolm Konner dealership is now called the Paramus Auto Mall - just a Chevy Dealer. The original, first "Konner" dealership (where I bought mine :D ) is still in existence on Bloomfield Ave in West Caldwell, NJ. It's a small dealership "Konner Chevrolet" and the one brother, Gary, still owns it and works there.......... he has one of the 50.
OK - since you don't see Z51 that means that you have the standard base suspension setup.
There were a couple typos in your list that I fixed up (in bold). The #NAs are stumping me. Can you re-check your sticker to make sure they're correct.
