154mph in the c5 with a cop in the passanger seat 130 to 139in the c4 i felt much safer in the c5 with the top down at that speed then in the 94 it was alot tighter :steering: :steering:
About 112 I think. I haven't had a chance to really open it up since the roads are patrolled here all the time. And if you try to go on a high speed run late at night you have to worry about deer and elk wandering along the front range highways.
162mph (indicated) with my 100K '96 A4 in 3rd gear (2.59's). Have only run 157mph with the LT4/Hotcam conversion plus a change to 3.07's. This is now a little bit into 4th gear as she shifts out of 3rd around 150mph. For some reason now, once I shift out of 3rd I normally feel I've gone fast enough :)
The total package is a bit more sprightly than stock. Especially with a 100RWHP hit of N2O. Quite a rush.
Without the N2O kick I'd expect speeds equivalent to the ZR-1. Somewhere in the 175 range with enough road. I'll try to tape a run in the near future.
ZR-71,
I am in Santa Cruz and have hit 151 on Hwy 1 between Rio Del Mar and Soquel. It was 3:00 am but it can be done around here.
slvsrpnt,
A number of East coast people, hav etheir cars trucked out and fly themselves and meet the car in Las Vegas. In fact both companies that do this can set it up for you.
Jeffy'
140 over an empty bridge late at night, 125 down the back stretch at Sebring (those turns tend to come up quick). I will run faster, but refuse to pass another car going that fast...
