Do you guys think your Corvette makes you more marketable to women? I was in traffic today when an extremely hot babe in the next lane started talking and flirting with me. SHe was definetly interestead and was not just pulling my chain(atleast I think). This might be a common thing for many people put I am just an average plain 24 year old guy and these things never happen to me. Well we ended things within about a minute and a half because I told her I was engaged when she asked if I wanted to do something and talk. So after that I was all pumped up because this gorgeous girl wanted plain old me. That only lasted about a minute and then I decided the reason must have been the Corvette. So while I wish it was my good looks that attracted her I am pretty sure it was actually the car. Oh well. So have you guys found that you can pull a lot more women when your driving in the Vette? If I only had this car a few years ago when I was single and looking. I will be curious to see if it happens again since I just got the car.

Nope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe back in the late '60's....now....most women could care less.....and figure if we have vette's they will get little time with us.....
I really believe that...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just don't care about cars......maybe they care more about BasketBall Player's.....whatever...you know what I mean...unless you find a GEARHEAD babe.....far and in between.................
Good Luck

I realize my being in my 60's doesn't help much with the "babes", but I got hustled more often when I was tooling around in my old Chrysler 300G letter car than I have so far in this Corvette.
Must be something with 22 year olds and Corvettes. I guess my main problem is that I look about 15 driving. (I have the seat all the way up and forward too.) So the only girls that ever show interest are in the 14-16 range. I just keep my windows and radio all the way up when I drive by the local junior highs.
Someone said looking young pays off later. Well it's not doing me a whole lot of good now!
Depends on the girl.
Having a corvette is a great way to get their attention.
Also when they ask what kinda car you have, that gets a bit odd, but its fun to blurt corvette and see what their reaction is.
Alot of the time its very positive. some times its "Your a self rightous play boy" attitude.
It's funny how a lot of my friends will introduce me to girls. They introduce me as: This is my friend "MattHeOwnsACorvette." To which I follow up with the joke saying that my full name actually is "MattHeOwnsACorvette." Without the joke they mostly think I'm some kind of self-rightous arrogant Richard Cranium.
Actually, the corvette is a double-edged sword: It gets me looks because it is loud and red and cant be missed, and it may even get me a conversation with women(rarely), but a lot of women are intimidated by it. I actually asked this chick from my gym out (she works there), and at first she kind of avoided me. When we got talking a little more, she said something like, "wow, youre not at all what i thought". She said that a guy like me who works out all the time, is in great shape, drives a corvette, etc., etc. intimidated her as she thought i must be some kind of "player". I dont use the car to get women, really. The Grand Cherokee probably gets more attention because it is loud as a **** with the straight pipe on it :blueangel:
Years ago ( before marriage and stuff, many summers ago ) I was sitting with some friends around an apartment complex pool. I noticed a really beautiful blond with a nice tan. I wasn't brave enough to go directly up to her to talk. So the guy I was with knew her and introduced us. After a brief conversation somehow the subject of my VETTE came up. ( At that time it was a 1974 L82 4spd with centerline rims and BF goodrich 50 T/A's) She said " Is that YOUR VETTE!", to which I replied " YES, wanna go for a ride"
That ride started a very romantic SUMMER relationship, one I will never forget.
Nope dude, you got her because of your looks. I'm 21 and I've YET (outta 3 years) to get a girl with my vette. (But that's also prolly because I look about 15 also.)
I have to say no as well, 23 and been driving the car for 3 years, really haven't had the car increase my luck :nonod:
I think when people see a young guy driving a vette they just assume its Dad's vette, and your just out for a joy ride.
no luck here either at 19. ive responded to a couple people when they ask what kind of car i drive, most dont seem to really care. girls seem to be into the ricer things now, those or suvs. those of us with real taste are being left out. :(
It helps, I think it backs up or compliments your personality,,,,that is if you have a personality. That is what the girls really want, the vette is just an added extra. If you come across as "hey, I drive a vette", forget it, you are going home alone. I am 41 now, but in high school I had a 68 Firebird with what you could call character( a few dents and rust ). But it was still a kewl looking car. I believe it was who I am, my personality that got the girls attention and kept it. I did not get my vette till I was 32, before that I had a Mazda pickup. I had a good time no matter what I drove.
Trust me, you don't need to be a female to notice the azz_oles out there driving Vettes.
im 16 and when i take a 20 mins drive to the beach and park i got prob about 60 % of girls saying nice stuff about the car wich leads to me talking to them
