You boys have the wrong attitude. You're Vette drivers for real, right? I don't mean to sound harsh but these posts read like "I drive a vette and I'm a loser". You gotta get a grip on a more positive attitude! IMHO

I also agree, most girls go for the ricer thing right now...a few months back, me and my buddy were out cruising in my vette..came back empty handed. So, just for kicks and grins, we took his car out (pretty clean 91 CRX Si, with ricer lights and a fartcan.)...we were both in shock, it was like literally EVERY girl wanted to talk to us!! Even one time, I let that same guy DRIVE my vette when we went cruising..and some girls are all "Hey, you don't drive this vette, you drive that CRX!" :rolleyes:

I'm 26 years old, I considering myself pretty good looking.The post above me about the CRX is true. I received far more compliments in my Honda than I have on my Vette. I am selling it shortly since I need the money for grad school. I'm either going to back to Honda or get a Tiburon. I parked next to a new Tiburon at a gas station one time and the guy must've fielded a dozen questions from people. I walked away with 0 compliments or questions. Then again I live in Atlanta, corvettes are a dime a dozen.... Believe me, they don't care for the car.

Some chicks will melt for the Vette (I've seen it happen for other guys with Vettes)...Once while eating lunch with some friends, a girl walks in and asks who owns the silver Vette (I thought she ran into it!), I spoke up, and she repeatedly said she would do ANYTHING for a ride in it. Being married, and being that this girl looked like a crack horse, I turned her down. Other then that, all I get are looks... :reddevil

My Wife and I took the Vettes for a cruise last week. She put my 4 month old daughter in her 79 'cuz it doesn't have an air bag. We stopped at the daycare school to pick up my 2 yr old son (who sits forward facing in my 95) and when we pulled in the parking lot the whole school was out on the playground. The kids thought the 2 Vettes were reaaly "cool cars". All the teachers are 19 to 24 years old and came over to tell my wife how much cooler the C3 is! One of them said, "Someday I want a Stingray". :eek:

Nope, I find that a Corvette will attract more guys than girls.
-Guys always come up and check the car out and look under it, in it, and stuff like that.
-Guys always ask me questions about the car, what year? How many miles?
- Guys on motorcycles give me the thumbs up.
- Other guys driving vettes wave, and I wave back The chicks I've seen drivng vettes never wave back.
-Out of all my friends, guys and girls; the guys wanted to ride in it more thanthe girls did.
-Girls, don't really care for much for cars. Except for gear head chicks, which is really good. Except all of the gear head chicks around here weigh more than 220 lbs. I have too much dignity to pursue moo-cows.
-Though yesterday, a slimmy driving a Grand Cherokee, yelled "Nice Vette!" out of her window as I was passing her.

I have a very nice looking 96Collector Edition Lt4... My wife has a black 99 BMW 328. Every time I'm in the BMW driving around alone I get TONS of looks from all types of CHICKS! Im not kidding.
The BMW means money and success to girls.
To many girls, the corvette means the guy is either old and reliving his past or has some other hang up. I hardly ever get attention from girls in my Vette, hell, I get more attention from guys that think Vettes are cool!
I dont think women are concerned with too much except how much money you have or your celebrity status.
I think the only way I could get a chick's attention from my vette is to step out of it and drop a thousand dollar bill on the ground in front of her.

however, if i get asked what i drive, i usually say "a green chevy". most people think about a pick up truck or so :D

To you guys about the honda's, bmw's and such. There's a certain crowd for vette owner's i would say if you're going to try to pick up women in the car. You can't to the local hotspot with stupid 22 year old girls who just bought the new 50 cent cd and want to roll in "tight a## whips" But all social places and clubs and whatever seem to follow the same trend, there's no diversity any more.......well screw that! and most women i've met don't appreciate cars anyway, very few do. a corvette has style, i actually had someone call me a redneck becuase i bought a vette!! most younger people are into the import thing and most of that crowd dosn't know their butt from a whole in the ground, so anytime i see a really hot chick and i can tell a little about where she's coming from and she dosn't give me any looks, i don't sweat it. becasue there are plenty of girls who do give the looks!
