The BMW means money and success to girls.
To many girls, the corvette means the guy is either old and reliving his past or has some other hang up. I hardly ever get attention from girls in my Vette, hell, I get more attention from guys that think Vettes are cool!
I dont think women are concerned with too much except how much money you have or your celebrity status.
I think the only way I could get a chick's attention from my vette is to step out of it and drop a thousand dollar bill on the ground in front of her.

Well, the "NO WIFE" plate is a definate attration getter, no doubt about that one! I love that one! I may go the other way NO HSBD! If you want to hear what attracts women to men, is it their car etc. make a post about it.
Too, If corvettes are. . . and I quote "made and marketed to guys only", gee wonder what made me buy a vette? Guess I'm just nuts and crazy about how it looks, feels and drives! I don't know . .. . I think Mustangs are more of a guys car, and when I see a girl driving one, I think she looks well, not as good as a guy would, the scene just doesn't fit. Just my humble opinion!
I should mention that my dad gets plenty of attention in his C5. He's had hot women talk to him at red lights sometimes. He's also had a lady who stopped him the parking lot to get his number. It might be the Corvette, but I think it has something to do with his "No Wife" license plate. His girlfriend of over a year thinks *ahem* very highly of the plate...

Well, I've never seen a woman in a Vette in all my 26 years of living, so as far as I know, you could be a myth. ;)

Before I bought my 94, I was cruising with a buddy late one night in his 77 and we stopped at a quicky mart. I went inside and he stayed in the car. As I was walking in, a pretty decent looking 20ish year old girl is walking out of the store, opens the door, and screams- "WOW! NICE VETTE!!!" So she goes to talk to him.
I'm inside for a couple minutes, come back out, she's still chatting with him. I hop in, he starts the car and gets ready to go. She says, "I should show you my ****, huh?" He smiles and slyly says "Whatever." Next thing you know, she's got her shirt over her head! I was in awe. I asked "Did you know her?" He shook his head 'no' and smiled again. He and his vette were God at that moment. That event definatly played a little part in my buying a Corvette- it adds to the legend! :cool: :cool:

According to a recent article in the Houston Chronicle celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Vette, they stated that 83% of Corvette buyers are men. I have a co-worker that just purchased a 2003 Miata, he gets alot of comments from women, but then again the Miata has a reputation for being a chick car.
With that in mind, I recently was stopped by a female police officer. The first statement out of her mouth was NICE CAR...I drove away with not even so much as a warning. Now that was weird! :cool:

Im 16, turning 17. i live in australia and dont drive the vette that much but i can tell you the chicks down here got MAD over it.
When i send chicks over the net pic of the cars they r like can u pick me up now lets go 4 a drive my address is ................. . It is the funny poopie.
Maybe cuz it is like the only daily drive vette in perth but i tell you when the work is finish on it im pretty sure the woman will be flying towards it.
By the way i hope i dont get that "PLAyER" image took me so long for the chicks at my school to stop calling me that :lol: :lol: :lol:

The car definitely gets everyone's attention in my case. Actually, I've had people stop next to me at lights and compliment me on all 3 of the cars below in the sig. Just the other day, a guy in his 60's stopped next to me in his Suburban while I was in the F150, rolled his window down and said, "I must admit that is one nice truck you got there."
Back on the subject, I've definitely gotten stares and girls coming up to me in all the cars saying how nice it was!

Tim, that's definatly a reasonable ultimatum to give the painter- you now have proof that wild girls + vettes are entirely possible. Tell him it will be a testament to his work when the girls do that for you in the car HE painted! :lol:

I've gotten panties to drop before. But i was in my car, and they were in their car and we were driving down the road and I couldn't stop I had to get somwhere. Soo I didn't see anything other then them waving their panties inside their window at me.

In the past it would have been an aphrodisiac to some women. I think girls these days all think or are TRAINED to think that a guy with a nice car is lacking in another significant area of their anatomy. I for one drive a Corvette for the feel of the car on the road. I also occasionally come close to closing my huge member in the car door or hood during routine duties, so we all know that they have been mislead by their Mothers and Grandmothers. :lolg: :lolg: :lolg: :lolg:

Maybe American girls are not as impressed anymore, but that is definitely not the case in Europe...I went out with this lovely girl from Estonia this weekend ,and in her words, she had to buy an outfit just to match the car...
