Default quick release top poll

the patent will cost me several thousand dollars, so if i am going to do this i had better try to figure out how many i will actually sell and if it is even worth it for me to try and do this
they will probably cost in the $100 to $150 range,
as some of you know, i can remove my roof and reinstall it in under a minute, its secure and very simple to use, plus you won't have to butcher your car to install it.

please participate in the poll if you are interested :yesnod:

if anyone would like to add anything please feel free
greg

That sounds like a great idea. But I've always been against the complaints that the top is too hard to get off. The torx wrench never bothered me and it doesn't take long :p: All these people talk about wrenching their cars and working the engine for hours, but cry as soon as they have to spend 2 min wrenching the top in and out

nothing personal nincompoop, i'm sure your idea will sell, but some people just whine about the smallest things

:jester  :jester

edit-stupid spelling :jester

Greg,
On my 96, it's fairly easy to remove the top with the tool. Although, I would be interested in a quicker release.

Best of luck with your idea.

Too much money? When I see some of the worthless, over-priced crap sold for Corvettes, this sounds like a real bargain. Good luck and may you do very well. Capitalism rules! :flag

Great idea! It's a pain in the butt to take the top off when you have a passenger with you.
You have to either give them the wrench or lean across them to loosen the front bolt.
I really like the idea of a quick release.
