Looks great, just need some red door panels or something to make it look like it fits.
I'm leaning towards Black/Red Wet Okole later on down the road. Only thing there is if the reds don't match I may switch the console back to black.
I have a foolproof trick for painting your key, high visibility parts which never fails.
Here are the key points:
1. Clean, clean, clean! Spend two to three times as much time cleaning and preparing the part as you plan doing the actual painting!!!
2. ONLY buy high quality materials (paint, tape, cleaning materials, etc....).
3. This is the big tip! Plan at least five trips OUT OF THE HOUSE and away from the part while you are painting it! Spay a fine thin coat - then leave! People hover over the parts (as I've done in the past) wanting to cover it as fast as possible. Multiple thin coats will ALWAYS give you the best result. Let it dry to tack (10 - 15 minutes), then hit it again. If you can't bear to be away from the part while you are painting it, set a timer! I've tried a beer between each coat, but by time I get to the seventh coat I'm painting my shoes.....
4. Lastly, never do the finger test! I think we all know what the result will be (wet paint + finger = DOH!). But if you are dead set on finger printing something, paint a small piece of scrap material at the same time. You can touch this all day long to verify that wet paint will accept a finger print.... :D
A little off subject, but not completely - How much is the trim pc that goes around the radio, from GM?? I have a REALLY small spot, where the coating is starting to peel, and I don't want it getting out of hand...

Yours came out  !!
I've priced both. Lowest I've seen for the radio bezel is around $28. It's the console around the shifter that'll kill you. $180! I didn't realize until now that that includes the leather shifter boot as well though. (or at least it appears too)

Contact Chris May at 800-728-8267. I think it was around that price the last I checked.
Actually that is our price from Chris, it list for $287, benefit of membership and customer loyalty from us. One reason I've been trying to replace those parts like that with originals is I'm starting to see some items fall into the discontinued category. That said, I figure if I got 12 yrs from the first one another a new one will last... well you get the picture.
Always apprecative of the great service from Chris and gang. :chevy

Yeah. The '94 6sp console is already no longer available. It's the '95-'96 now. The problem is, I haven't been able to find out exactly what the difference is.
