Default Build date

I have a '95 LT1 coupe. I was wondering if there was a way to determine the actual build date.

The last part of my serial number is 110774. This is the plant sequential number.

I've heard of a build sheet on the gas tank, but I don't know if that pertains to the 95 year and if so how hard it is to get to.

Thanks

On our '93 and '96 C4s the drivers door has 2 stickers that look like this
On the top left of the top sticker should be the word "Date" and under that word you should see a month and year (no day because the days for manufacturing are Julian, ie. 1 thru 365. Hope this helps, Bill

If you send your VIN to National Corvette Museum (on the 'net) they'll send you a complete build sheet (for a fee).

On my '93 I pulled the build sheet from the frame rail under the power steering unit side...needle nose pliers, and plenty of patience. There is also one above the gas tank, but I think that involves loosening the straps and that gets yucky

Yeah if you don't have the original go ahead and get one from NCM.

I have my original somewhere I haven't been able to find it when I last looked for it tho! I shoulda kept it in the console where it stayed for years.

I have a 95 too mine was built in (05/95)
