91 tach problems

Default 91 tach problems
when i start my vette ,the tach pegs up ,then goes to 0,please help

Check the filter at the back of the dristributor rear center of block hard to get to but its there.

I had the same problem on my '90. Ended up replacing the gauge cluster. I cut the tach filter out totally and replaced the filter and it works great. I bought a cluster on eBay for $90.
