The new Z is great, but it isn't doing 254.76 mph today. Or any day, it doesn't have the aero.

This isn't a straight line salt flats run, it is a closed course run maintaining the speed through the corners. It took some hairy ba11s to keep the pedal down.

I read tehy had to use an 8mile closed cource to get to the top speed of 254. John Ligenfelter did it if I remember correctly.

My point here is that nothing was touching these kinds of numbers back in 88.This is an outrageous car that was driven to the track and driven home.Ive been wanting to get the video of this but keep forgetting.

The "88" Sledgehammer, "91" ZR-1 Speedster and a couple of other Callaways were at the Vettes On The Rockies in Frisco Colo. this past weekend. Very awesome cars!

Sorry junior we invented the "Media". We also invented the muscle car.AMX,Super Bee,Judge,SS396,Shelby I rode in all those cars (except 1) when I was still wet behind the ears. Can you name the manufacturers? Can you name the engines in these cars? If you can't then you have no point of reference.Probably watched too much TV.You will find a true car enthusiast can appreciate all models even if we have a favorite.Maturity has its rewards and tolerance is one of them.
