chevy whats wrong?
is it just me or is chevy loosing it, i mean they lost the ponycar. 
there ruining alot of old favorits like the malibu the montecarlo 
the impala. i dont know what to think about them anymore. all they have thats good is the vette and little compact thing and those they had to hop up(which i dont mind 
) i dont know i miss the old chevy
still chevy will always be the best

Boy I am in the mood to get flamed.
I love the corvette but my LS1 SS was pampered I put 40K miles and she fell apart LITERALLY. Anyhow if Chevy is going to ruin the camaro like gm has done bringing back some of the old cars, I would rather them not ressurect it. Compare the chevy ss pickup to the dodge srt10 I know what I would rather have
Compare the cobalt ss to the srt4, which runs circles around the cobalt. Now the corvette is a different story I will not bring her into it. Corvettes ROCK 
Anyhow chevy needs to get there act together. I dont like having to buy dodges as a Daily driver because chevrolet has nothing IMO, notice I said in my opinion, that compares to some of the chrysler dodge products.

i know the vette rocks thats y i said besides the vette and compact thing u are right about the camaro though i guess i wouldnt want them to bring it back either inless it has a new ls2 or something to scare the comp.

I think the the new Monte could be great if it were only RWD. My old '95 Z34 needs replaced and I was looking at the SS however I'm leary of new models.
I may chance it only because I don't think the '95 is going to make it to the 07 year models. I'm liking the 300 horses, gues I'll have to take one out for a spin and see how it feels.
I always liked the luxury sport feel of the Monte Carlo but it really did loose it's appeal a little with FWD.

JMO but I think they need to make it sleeker. Pontiac makes all there cars look like grand prix/grand ams It just doesnt look mean. I know it has more ponies then the z28 but on the line the z28 comes out better do to weight or something! crazy

i know i'm taking a big risk by saying this, but i like what Ford has done with the new Mustang. retro looks with today's tech. the car looks good. that being said, i'll be a Chevy (Corvette!) guy forever....
inside and under the hood they're alright, but the body sucks!!!!

Well yes the mustang is a HUGE improvement looks wise! I hope chevy does that with the camaro! If they do I WILL buy one however, I am still scared of the quality lol. I am telling you my camaro had EVERYTHING but the motor go out. And it was pinging. I took care of that darn car too. The window motors were out, the radio speakers were BLOWN I had the 500 watt monsoon, the rotors were WARPED, it shook when I drove it, the clutch had gone out, The seats were cheap looking, and they were leather but lookes SO cheap, I cant name all the stuff that went out on that car!

Don't foreget the other car that now comes out of the same stable as the Vette.
I understand that the new Caddy is getting some nice power and will be getting a blower soon. Of course I think Chrysler pushed that somewhat.
Maybe now the General can quit "refining" the Vette (the Caddy is the grand touring car) and stick with raw sports car appeal...naaah, the bean-counters rule.
