You "might" get by if the replacement was exact material & dimensions of oem. You also might get by for local autox under the " no woose protests" rules, but if you do the tour or nat's get an oem.

My 1990
I had a side tank replaced on my 1990 radiator. The shop charged me $100 and also said he power flushed it after and pressure tested for leaks. Total was like $135 or around there after tax and hoo ha.

I did the R&R
I did the R&R because I had to do some cleaning also. Those things get so dirty in there.
LT-4 CE: I have another OLD radiator in the garage out of a 90 or 91 with a cracked RIGHT tank if you'd like to make bookends.
