Default What gaskets to run with EM headers?

My speed shop doesn't stock any oval port gaskets so I need some ideas on what to order.

I like the Earl's pressure gaskets with the graphite inserts. Expensive but well worth it.

Okay, you can have the DRMs. Shipping will be, hmmmm let's see, I'd say about $900 ought to cover it!

I guess I'll go with the Felpros since I know their exhaust gaskets are good (I've even reused them before) AND it's the only one I was given a part # for!

Percy's Seal-4-Good part # 66031

The Felpros only lasted about 6 months on my car.

I have always used Percy's seal4good deadsoft aluminum. Never had a leak, or a loose bolt after the first heat cycle. They are completely resusable too. If you do happen to develope a leak, the aluminum won't burn like the felpro.

Makes me nervous as that is what is going on mine......

But I have heard both good & bad about every kind of gasket....
It seems having success is a complicated process involving not only the gasket, but the header flange quality, the bolt/lock quality, installation procedure/proper torque, & retorquing after a few "heat" cycles....

EM says Felpros, I can't believe Felpro would offer "junk"....

I have Felpros in my car for the last year without any issues. I haven't heard about the Percys Seal Good gaskets. Who sells them?

I've also seen these copper header gaskets for the LT1 on eBay. The price seems right:

Found my SLP header install kit for the shorties, and the gaskets were still in there, anyone use these? They look like factory gaskets.
