HELP!! need torque specs
Hey guys I’m running into kind of a jam with time. What are the torque specs on the diff carrier to diff bolts?? (The cover to diff). Also, the tie rod to carrier bolts, the wheel bearing to spindle bolts? I couldn't find the specs in Chilton's. Are the diff cover bolts supposed to be replaced every time the diff cover is off?

Thank you very much...Do you happen to know the torque order? Is it criss-cross? Also isn't the bracket for the spidle camber rod 60ft/lbs? That also blots the cover down. Thanks again.

Jeff, yep the spindle bracket that bolts to the case is 60ft. lbs. thats what my helms manual says. If you could E Mail me a fax # I could send you the torque sequence cause i'm not smart in knowing how to post it on here. You can IM or e-mail Redbullapril23. He either has or is working on a complete set of torque values and sequences for every bolt in all C4s. He's trying to get it posted as a sticky.
