Okay, i'm stumped and getting kinda agravated. I'm getting a kind of whistle/squeal from the engine ('84) when it gets above 185 degrees. I've replaced the water pump, and the tentioner wheel. It has the bypass kit for the AIR pump, so that pulley is brand new. The belt is brand new and i've used belt dressing on it. So i'm guessing it's either the AC, or the power steering pulley. The steering itself is fine at any temp. So has anyone heard of an AC compressor making goofy noises?
I had some smoke come out from under the hood the other day when i turned on the AC also. a burning plastic smell. hmm........could it be? anyone know how many $$$ it's gonna cost me to de-dumb this problem?

Reason: sig pic too large
yep, AC works perfectly. It vibrates the car when i turn it on, but that's just because the idle is too low. I get it up to 900 and she's fine. Also, the alternator is brand spankin new. Old one left me stranded in Waikiki.
hmm....wine sounds good.....
