Ive been reading other post stating that the 93 vette uses 22lb injectors. I purchased a chip reader a little while back and read my factory chip. It reads 23.8 lbs. So my question is are they 22 or 24. If 22 could you direct me to some documention backing this up? Thanks.

Yeah I can help you with your chip. The 24# injectors will run too rich with your current settings and will need tweaked. Using a AFPR is just a bandaid and will not be fully taylored like a tune will be.
The cost of the chip is 250+10 dollars shipping. Payable in money order. That is 1/2 what others pay and I will redo the chips for the cost of the shipping back. So when you do your next round of mods, you can just send it back to me and I will happily redo the tune.
The best way to ship the chip is in a static free bag, and in a box. Avoid the use of plastic or other static creating material. In a box with newspapers crubled up would be fine. Be sure to include the information
The turnaround time is about 3 business days from receipt
Look forward to talking with you more. PLease let me know when you ship it out, so I can be watching for it.
I'm not sure what size injectors are in a 93, but if your constant was set at 23.8 I would say thay are GM 24's. What I do know is that FMS injectors are rated at a lower Fuel Pressure and thus will flow more than that what they are rated when installed in our GM cars.
My 1988 stock chip was set at 22, testing and tuning I found that ~26.25 was what I needed to work with my FMS 24 lb/hr injectors.
I guess what 93ragtop and I are both wondering is where can we find this info from a verifable source as there have been many answers from a lot of guys and we are not sure who to trust on this issue. Reguardless FMS 24# injectors are at a lower rated PSI so they will run richer just how much depends on this answer
The only thing I needed to convince me was the value for the injector constant in the ECM which is 23.8.
The ford injectors are close enough that you don't need to do any real re-tuning to use them. Ultimately though I would recommend staying with GM style injectors, they have a better spray pattern.
