OBD2 TCat,.... feedback
Is this thing any good? Any problems with it? How easy/hard is it to use?
Do they have a demo of it? Is there a user's manual?
I've asked them 3 times in 3 day's for info. They tell me they have a tool. It is $400. That's it. (Send me $400,.. I'll send you something.)
I'd call,.... if they had a P#?

I have been beta testing the product for months now. It works great and I have been able to calibrate most all of the LS1 series cars and trucks. The only one that is not available yet is the 97/98 LS1 stuff and it is coming within a couple months. The early LS1 stuff is totally different than the later hardware code. Hence the difficulty in disassembly of the code. TC is currently working on the 96/97 LT1 software to get it released by the end of this month, that is his current priority. You can also check out this website for further information on the OBD2 version of TC. And I have to say if you have used the older TC program it is in the same format, so if you have used it you won't have any problems. It easy to use for the novice. But you have to have some understanding of tuning issues and how EFI systems work. You will also have to invest in a scan tool, however TC is going to have his version that will datalog and have additional inputs so that you can even graph with a wide band o2 system.
