I didn't like that guy from day one when you told us of the oil ring issue. Anyway, me a couple other guys and yourself can put that motor and trans in no problem. It's an option. Is the TPI on top?
Great gesture Paul
Good luck Christian, hope your smiling soon
What a terrible experience! In court, documentation is everything. Don't be surprised if he denies overheating the engine on the freeway.
Unfortunately this sort of thing happens when there is no money in it for the warranty work. The poor bugger probably cannot afford to take the time to fix it because he needs paying jobs to keep the wolf away.
BTW, when you get a judgment, you still have to collect. The court won't do that part for you. If you can locate a bank account or some other asset to lein, you will need the local marshall's office to execute the lein. A "till tap" gets their attention in a hurry because you get their day's receipts. You can keep it up until the judgment is satisfied. Your guy is about to get a difficult lesson.
WOW.... that is total bs man... I cant believe that but at least you got your car back and the parts but why would you ever give him your credit card to fix an engine he blew up and now that you have your car back how do you plan on proving that he did it because I am sure he will deny it. Well I hope everything works out for you and good luck.
